Chief of Police

Troy is fortunate in the fact that they are one of the only cities within Latah County to have their own law enforcement. Latah County Sheriff's Deputies and Idaho State Patrol assist with enforcement, but Chief Kt Whiteley is Troy's law enforcement. Chief Whiteley has been performing her duty within Troy for more than 16 years. Due to her diligent efforts, Troy's crime rate is extremely low.

Chief Whiteley is POST Certified. Kt's first husband was Marshal of Deary. Kt was widowed in 1973. Kt's current husband Charles is a retired Latah County Deputy. She has 4 sons, 6 grand daughters, and 1 grandson.

Kt's prior employment was in the early 1970's with the Latah Sheriff's Office.
