Troy Volunteer Ambulance

Troy's volunteer ambulance consists of 15 certified Emergency Medical Technicians and professional nurses.

Troy ambulance is the only emergency medical ambulance service in Latah County that does not charge for their services.

Troy's ambulance is well equipped and state of the art.

The Troy ambulance team meets the second Monday of each month.

With the Latah biking/hiking trail almost complete, we found a need for a vehicle that could respond on the narrow trails in the event of medical emergencies. Through the generous donations of local businesses, citizens and City organizations, Troy ambulance has purchased a Polaris 6 wheel drive all terrain vehicle and  have completely outfitted it with red lights, siren, gurney, and full medical response gear.  This rescue response vehicle will be used to serve the citizens of Troy as well as lend the vehicle and a Troy EMS crew to aid in search & rescue utilizing the mutual aid agreement with our surround sister cities.
