Troy is fortunate in the fact that they are one of the only cities within Latah County to have their own law enforcement.  Latah County Sheriff's Deputies and Idaho State Patrol assist with enforcement.  Troy's solo officer, Chief Skiles, was recently hired to work in Troy.  Due to his diligent efforts, Troy's crime rate is extremely low.
